Michael has a diverse background in sports and fitness. He started in martial arts at age five; eventually becoming the New England Kickboxing Men’s Champion at sixteen while being nationally ranked. He has competed in gymnastics, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, football, rugby, and professional MMA. Currently, Michael powerlifts with the USAPL.
Michael graduated from Providence College with a BS in biology and a MS in neuro-muscular connections. While attending PC, Michael became a certified personal trainer through the ISSA and ACSM. He trained, supervised, and ran boot camps at the college’s fitness center. Michael soon earned his CSCS, and worked as an assistant strength and condition coach with Providence College’s Division One sports teams. After graduating, Michael went on to manage several LA Fitness’ throughout New England as their director of personal training.
Through his experiences, Michael has trained hundreds of people with different body types and goals including children, seniors, beginners, bodybuilders, figure and bikini competitors, division one and professional athletes, powerlifters and MMA fighters.
